About the Book

The method of indication is considered to be one of the most important methods of deducing the effective cause, due to its capacity in investing the wordings and elicitation of the Islamic holy text .One of Its characteristics is its ability to combine between the features of the rhetorical based school that feature being the use of the wordings of the text, and the features of the intellect based school in the field of thought and ijtihad. This study looks into the phenomenon of The Al-Mutakallimeen Islamic Foundation Scholars consideration for the method of indication as an acceptable method for deducing the effective cause. This study defined the indication and illustrated the steps of it evolution at the school of The Al-Mutakallimeen, and the most important trends in determining its truth. Arriving into showcasing the conjugation that was derived from the method indication considering the Mental and semantic methods in deducing the effective cause. This study concluded that the method indication has an intellectual aspect. Which establishes for deducing the effective cause using ijtihad according to a legislative approach characterized by an integrative relationship between the text and ijtihad.
